Thursday 22 April 2010 a day to never forget !!
I met Jiro Wang from Fahrenheit at Schiphol Airport in the Netherlands !!
It such a special moment !!
Thoughts of that day
Around 12 PM Vivien and I arrived at Schiphol
We know Jiro might take the flight of China Airlines of 14:45
We walk to departure hall 3, counter 30...
And from far away...I'm immediately recognized Jiro !!!
I tickle Vivien and pointed to Jiro "check check check !!!"
Vivien eating muffin: it's it really him???
He was standing in a line, and waiting to check-in
Wearing a army jacket, green/blue had, aqua pants, his own designed MUA T-shirt
and wearing shades...but I just recognized him !!
Vivien and I walked to him still with a little bit doubt...
And the assistant next to Jiro was already looking at us like...what do you want
Vivien and I screamed: 大東 (Da Dong) !!
Jiro smiled at us, but the assistant immediately said with a rude tone:
If you still acting like this, then afterwards nobody would get signed something !!
I was like...we don't even did something to Jiro !!
No need to be this rude?!?! =S
I asked Jiro if I can make some pictures of him
He misunderstand of I was willing to make a picture with him I think
He answered: well, now we ware busy with check-in etc, wait for later ok.
Then we walked back outside the check-in area...
Vivien saw a friend of her, there was other 4 girls waiting for Jiro.
One of the girls came all over from Italy !!
We are standing there and wait until Jiro was done with Check-in
In the meanwhile...I used my mobile phone to take some pictures of Jiro
I saw other people starting to make pictures of Jiro with their digital camera
At that moment I thought...well I gonna take my camera too then !!
And made some pictures of Jiro when he was still waiting to check-in haha
And then some a staff of the flight company says it's not allowed to take pictures etc
We are pretending making pictures of our self...and then with Jiro at the background haha
Oh and one funny thing is...
I suddenly saw western people making pictures of Jiro too !!
One old man had a kinda weird camera...
It's very broad and have to lenses??
And another old woman who was a passenger I think
She just walked into the Check-in area
and made a picture of Jiro from very very very close distance !!
We were only "allowed" to make pictures from a far distance =,=
Suddenly I saw Jiro walking away, more inside the airport area
We was thinking, Oh nooo he is not already leaving us?!?!
Without saying goodbye and no picutre?!?!
But he went to some area...which they handle special luggage I think
He took his guitar with him, and that need special attention right ;)
And then...Jiro finally came to us !!! Yeah ^^
The stupid assistant first said...1 person only got 1 picture with Jiro
And then he asked us if we know each other...
We answered yes...but actually we know each other from that day XD
And at the end...we only got 1 group picture =(
When I asked Jiro if he can sign something for me
And Jiro was already willing to do it...
Stupid assistant interrupted again: It's autograph or on the picture!!
Which one do you want?! That was the agreed "game rules"
I was like...omg...that's not what he said !!!
I have brought all my Fahrenheit's album collection with
At the end...nothing got signed ah !!! =(
Well I'm happy enough to be able get on the picture with Jiro !!
And standing next to him !! And holding his arm haha !!
When we were taking the group picture...
One of the female staff wanted to record it down...
But Jiro said that to her not to record this
I was wondering why he would say this...
Doesn't he want to let people know he also got fans in The Netherlands??
But people on the forum is saying, he says this to protect us
So that we won't be exposure to the media etc etc
We doesn't mind at all actually?? On the contra side, we want to be on tv/news haha XD
After taking the picture...
The assistant quickly wanted take Jiro away
But Jiro was very nice and took initiative to shake hands with us to say goodbye
I was just waving to Jiro and he suddenly took out his hand
I was like huh? what?? Ohw shake hands !!!! =D
And he begins to walk away heading to his gate
At the moment I almost forget I have letters to give him !!!
One of a Toronto fan (I don't know if can mention your name here...) and one from me
I screamed: wait for a minute !!!
Stupid assistant: what is it???
I: I got some letters !!
He: Give it to me, give it to me
So I gave it to him and I saw that he put it in Jiro's bag =)
I hope Jiro have noticed that, and have read it during the flight
The group was walking away and the assistant said that we not have to follow them
But we ignored that and just follow them till they are really inside
On the meanwhile I recorded the whole follow process lolzz
Finally Jiro is leaving...and saying goodbye to us...
